felting without a right index finger

I seem to be more accident prone this spring than usual. Last Weds. I almost sliced the entire top of my index finger off while I was at work. It really bled but didn't hurt as I had sliced some nerves too. Off to the clinic I go for 3 stitches across the tip of my finger. Well you would think I was some sort of invalid, they definitely bandaged it to look that way. So this weekend was not very productive so I can only show you last weeks work. I finally felted that scarf that I had placed out during the winter, it is beautiful.

owie! what a trooper you must be, though...always amazes me what we can still do through our boo-boos!

hope the healing is soon and complete -

isn't felting wonderful?

Libby, I honestly don't think I've ever met anyone who has as many 'accidents' as you. But you certainly take it as it comes and with grace. Hope the finger heals quickly!

Hi Julaine,
I agree felting is wonderful. It amazes me how I can start out with a design in my head but the product turns out to be very diffent than I planned, usually much better.
Keep on felting!

Becky,
I probably am the most accident prone person you will ever meet, I have always been this way with my first broken bone at less than 2 years old.
Something I have learned to live with. When I went to the clinic, 2 people came with me so I wouldn't fall down the stairs and break my neck( their words, not mine)
