Harley

Last night at 6:30 I had to put my oldest dog to sleep. She had been going down hill for a while but she would rally and things would be better. Well not last night. She let me know and by the time we got to the vet, she let us know it was the right thing to do. Well now I am worth nothing much at work. The house was very quiet last night and no one left my side. Guess it will be like that for awhile.
I am going to a felting retreat in Asheville this weekend so I am glad this is over and Phil did not have to make the decision alone.

So sorry for your loss. It is tough. It will get better, but it takes time. (Yeah, I've been there.) Hugs!

She had a wonderfully long life. I hope you'll feel better soon. RIP, my favorite lap dog.

thanks for your hugs, I really needed them. Wish you could have seen her one more time Paula but you wouldn't want to have seen her near the end.

I'm glad to remember her draped over my lap as if she was a teeny puppy.
