An Interesting Discovery

I just found out that a local newspaper picked up my blog and quoted part of it. I am fine with that but it really surprised me. Luckily it was an entry that was good for a local company. I guess search engines can find anything. Shows that anything you post on the internet is not really yours anymore once you hit publish. Of course they were nice enough to point people to my blog so it was win win for everyone.

Libby, was it FC News??? How odd that they wouldn't even contact you! How did your class go, did you get there and get in? Bet you it was COLD!!! Phyllis and I left @ 8 am and drove up to Dillard, antiqued, flea markets, fabric shops, etc. And it was very cold up there! I thought of you - we saw one booth that had some neat purses made of different fibers - right up your alley!

Tell you who it was later, I am paranoid to say on the internet,LOL. I did go to the class, only 400 showed up instead of the 500 they predicted. We didn't have to stand in the cold, they let us in early thank goodness. It was really good. I got some great ideas so my usual Christmas madness will be even worse this year. What a dream job it would be to go in and decorate other people's homes for Christmas.

I understand, completely! Have you ever seen the online magazine 'Inspired Ideas'? Go to my blog and click on the picture to the right - there are some wonderful Christmas ideas in there! I'm going to try to make some of the yoyo trees, but don't know where I'm going to find any affordable wooden spools of thread - may have to substitute! B.
